National Assembly Concludes 21st Session After 145 Days

Kathmandu. The 21st session of the Federal Parliament, National Assembly, has been formally concluded on Friday. This session, which started on May 12 and ran for 145 days until October 2, held 52 meetings. During this period, the assembly completed 98 hours and 10 minutes of various parliamentary procedures, informed Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal during the meeting.
The session completed the process of passing and authenticating 6 bills replacing ordinances (Constituency Election, Voter Roll, Public Procurement, Anti-Money Laundering, Cooperatives, and Health Professional Education Commission Amendment Bills). Furthermore, important tasks related to the budget, including the Appropriation Bill, Finance Bill, and the Loan Raising Bill, have been completed, stated Chairman Dahal.
