Kathmandu. The practice of internal democracy within the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has become quite contentious in Sindhupalchok. The district convention, which had been postponed twice, was set for August 6. As the convention nears, the dispute has reached its peak.

Instead of adhering to the party's constitution and methods, activists from the establishment faction have drawn the attention of the center, accusing them of strategizing to capture the organization through power and influence.
