Clarion call for international flights to Bhairahawa

Entrepreneurs, people’s representatives, and civil society members say Gautam Buddha International Airport, built at a cost of nearly Rs40 billion, has no flights. This puts another Rs80 billion of private sector investments at risk.

Nepal’s second international airport, inaugurated in the country’s south in May 2022, has seen no international flights for a year and a half now.
