Three Dead in Electrocution Incident in India's Sitamarhi District

Rautahat. Three people have died from electrocution by an open electric wire laid in a paddy field in Bairgania block of Sitamarhi district in Bihar, India, bordering Rautahat's headquarters Gaur.

Three local residents died on the spot in the incident that occurred on Saturday morning in Takia Tole, Ward-5 of Akhta Paschimi Chakwa Panchayat, Bairgania block. Three other people were seriously injured by the electric current. It is reported that they are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
