Progressive Democratic Party Leader Ashok Jaiswal Calls for Unity of Oppressed People

Kathmandu. Progressive Democratic Party leader Ashok Jaiswal has said that a progressive front has been formed for the liberation of the oppressed people and that struggle must be waged for rights. He said this while delivering his best wishes at the inaugural ceremony of the second general convention of the Janamat Party on Saturday.

He emphasized that rights cannot be obtained by fighting alone and that all oppressed communities must unite. He expressed confidence that the general convention would make policy decisions to struggle for the rights and identity of the people of the Tarai Madhesh, and congratulated and wished luck to Dr. CK Raut, who is about to be elected as the chairman from the general convention.
