Speaker Aryal pledges legislative action for heritage preservation

Lalitpur, Oct 3: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Dol Prasad Aryal, has expressed his commitment to establishing requisite legislation aimed at safeguarding the linguistic, artistic, cultural, and heritage assets of the Newar community throughout the nation, with particular emphasis on Lalitpur.

During the inauguration of the 33rd annual general meeting of the Jyapu Society held here today, the Speaker underscored that the safeguarding of cultural heritage constitutes a fundamental obligation of the contemporary generation.
