Kathmandu Book Exhibition Features Private Publishers for First Time

Kathmandu. A grand book exhibition has been ongoing at the Nepal Academy premises in Kamaladi, Kathmandu since September 9. This year, for the first time, private publishing houses have also been included, making the book exhibition of this magnitude, the Academy stated. The exhibition features books from about two dozen private publishing houses, along with various governmental and academic institutions.
Books from government institutions including Sajha Prakashan, as well as important publications from the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, and the National Archives are available for sale and distribution at the exhibition. Priority has been given to books related to Nepali language, literature, art, culture, history, philosophy, sociology, children's literature, folklore, and knowledge-science.
