Teenager Missing in Tamor River While Bathing

Tehrathum. A teenager has gone missing while bathing in the Tamor River at Lumughat, Myanglung Municipality-1. Diplak Limbu, who studies in class 10 at Deepjyoti English Boarding School in the district headquarters Myanglung, was swept away by the river. Diplak, the 16-year-old son of Dilip Sambahamphe, whose permanent address is Kummayak Rural Municipality-3, Panchthar, and who resides in Myanglung, Tehrathum, had gone to the Tamor River with friends to bathe today. His friend said he was swept away by the river while bathing, the police said. A police team has been mobilized to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident and is searching for the missing teenager, said Lakshman Oli, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chief of the District Police Office, Tehrathum.
