Rudraksha Business Begins in Bhojpur, Generating Significant Income

Bhojpur. Rudraksha business has started in Bhojpur this year. The process of collecting Rudraksha seeds produced in the low-lying areas of the district has begun. Farmers have also started trading. Rudraksha cultivation is becoming a good source of income for the farmers here.

According to Manoj Chapagain, central president of the Rudraksha Traders Association, Rudraksha worth approximately NPR 1 billion was traded from Bhojpur last year. He informed that approximately 1.1 million kilograms of Rudraksha are produced annually in the district. He stated that farmers earn lakhs from a single seed.
