Percentage of inclusive groups to be determined as per latest census

Kathmandu, Dec 20: The percentage of inclusive groups in the proportional representation system for the upcoming elections will now be determined as per the latest census. This has been possible after the introduction of House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082.

President Ramchandra Paudel issued the Ordinance on Friday on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers pursuant to Article 114 (1) of the Constitution.
