2,548 Girls Vaccinated Against Cervical Cancer in Tanahun

Tanahun. 2,548 adolescent girls in the district have been vaccinated against cervical cancer with the HPV vaccine.

According to the Provincial Public Health Office, the vaccine was administered to 2,542 students studying in grade 6 in schools across ten municipalities in the district and six 10-year-old girls outside of school. The vaccination campaign was conducted by designating vaccination centers in 254 schools in all ten local levels of the district.
