Bagmati Province Chief Minister Seeks Support for Government Continuity

Hetauda. Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniyan has formally sought support from other political parties for the continuity of the provincial government and political stability. He has urged all five parties represented in the Provincial Assembly to support the government by sending a formal letter.

Chief Minister Baniyan, who is also the leader of the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party, has sent separate letters to the parliamentary party leaders of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party (NMKP), CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (UML), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Hamro Nepali Party, requesting them to support the current government and collaborate. He stated in the letter that there is no possibility of forming a new coalition government and sought support for the stability of the province. He formally handed over the letters to the respective party leaders on Monday.
