International Conference on Regenerative Tourism Concludes at Kathmandu University

Kathmandu, 7 Dec 2025 : Kathmandu University School of Management ( KUSOM ) has successfully concluded the 12th TTRA Asia Pacific Annual Conference 2025, reaffirming a shared commitment to responsible and regenerative tourism development in the Asia - Pacific region . The three - day event , held from December 6 to 8 in Lalitpur , brought together leading tourism scholars , industry experts , and global partners .

This year’s conference , themed “ Regenerative Travel and Tourism Research in the Asia Pacific ,” saw the participation of universities and institutions from Nepal , Hong Kong , Japan , India , the United States , Taiwan , Thailand , the UAE , China , Macau , Vietnam , Malaysia , and Brunei . More than forty researchers from these countries presented their latest work .
