Quality Education Is More Than Rhetoric

Words have colossal weight as they can heal our minds or hurt our hearts. Catchwords have immense power to shape opinions and change the world. But if they are overused without actions associated with them, they begin to lose their vigor. Among such popular catchwords, political catchphrases have greater illocutionary force because, once they are uttered, they can influence the human mind easily. In modern political annals of our country, catchphrases such as Democratic Socialism, New Democracy, Party-lessness, People’s Multiparty Democracy, New Democracy of the Twenty-first Century, and recently coined catchphrase Action without Words (or With Little Words) have been the most commonly used ones since political consciousness came into use in the mid-twentieth century.
