Cabinet Appoints Dr. Dibakar Bhatta as Chairman of Consumer Court

Kathmandu. The cabinet meeting on Tuesday appointed Dr. Dibakar Bhatta as the Chairman of the Consumer Court based on the recommendation of the Judicial Council. According to Home Minister and Government Spokesperson Om Prakash Aryal, Kathmandu District Judge Bhatta has been appointed as the Chairman of the said court.

Dr. Bhatta was the first person in Nepal to complete a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Tribhuvan University in the first division and was honored with the Mahendra Vidya Bhushan 'Kha'. He also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law and Human Rights from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in the first division.
