DAV Business School Successfully Concludes Third Corporate Futsal Tournament

Lalitpur. DAV Business School, in collaboration with Human Resources Society Nepal, has successfully concluded the third DAV Corporate Futsal Tournament 2026. The tournament was held at Jawalakhel Ground in Lalitpur from Shrawan 16 to 18. With the objective of promoting teamwork, professional relationships, and a healthy lifestyle, the tournament saw the participation of 32 corporate teams. Representatives from commercial banks, insurance companies, trading firms, IT companies, automobile dealers, and the manufacturing sector participated, making this tournament a common platform for Nepal's corporate sector. The opening ceremony held on Friday was attended by guests including the General Secretary of Human Resources Society Nepal, Disha Nath. The tournament was formally inaugurated by the Chairman of DAV Business School, Anil Kedia. A total of 32 league matches and 15 knockout round games were played. In a thrilling final clash, Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Corporation and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal competed. Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Corporation clinched the title with an excellent performance in a competitive game. Although Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, the runner-up, also presented a good game, they had to face defeat. In the closing ceremony, the winner Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Corporation received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 along with a trophy and a gold medal. The runner-up, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, was awarded Rs. 55,000 in cash, a trophy, and a silver medal. Mementos were presented to all 32 participating teams, sponsors, and referees as a token of appreciation.
