INSTAGRAM: Instagram Enables Likes On Stories!!!

Instagram is introducing a new feature called Private Story Likes, which allows you to like someone's Instagram Story without sending them a direct message. Previously, every comment you wrote to someone about a Story, whether an emoji or a full-fledged message, appeared as a response in their DM inbox; with this new feature, you may offer some gratitude for a Story without filling up the user's DMs.

"So now, when you walk through Stories, there will be a heart icon between the message and that little paper aircraft," Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri stated in a video. "And if you touch on it, it'll send a like to the author of that story, and that like will appear in the viewer sheet, not in your DM thread with them."
