Gen-Z Front Demands Immediate Publication and Implementation of Inquiry Commission Report Led by Gauri Bahadur Karki

Kathmandu. The Nepal Gen-Z Front has demanded that the government immediately publicize and implement the report of the inquiry commission formed under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki. Issuing a press release on Wednesday, the Front warned of returning to street protests if the demands are not met.

‘We had expected that the inquiry commission formed under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki, without elections, would impartially investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24, and that this interim government would publicize the report and initiate the process of taking just action against the guilty,’ the press release issued by the Front stated. ‘However, the repeated extensions of the commission's term and the current situation where the term has been extended until Falgun 21 after the elections have seriously concerned us.’
