Election Commission Directs Hospitals to Keep Health Workers on Standby for Upcoming By-elections

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has directed hospitals and health institutions to keep health workers ready for the House of Representatives by-elections scheduled for this coming Falgun 21.

Stating that the management work for the election is continuously ongoing as per the schedule approved by the Commission, the Commission has directed to arrange for emergency health assistance services to be available at all polling stations for the staff deployed, security personnel, and voters coming to cast their votes in the House of Representatives by-election, informed Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson for the Commission.
