80 dead; five persons missing in flood, landslides in this monsoon

Kathmandu, July 10

A total of 80 persons have died due to floods, landslides and other monsoon-related hazards so far in this monsoon season, the Nepal Police said. One person died in the Kathmandu Valley while 19 in Koshi Province, three in Madhes Province, four in Bagmati, 22 in Gandaki, 20 in Lumbini, four in Karnali and seven in Sudurpaschim Province due to disaster-related incidents, said Spokesperson of the Nepal Police, DIG Dan Bahadur Karki.
