39 Bodies Found After BhoteKoshi River Flood

Gorkha. A total of 39 bodies have been found so far in areas bordering Gorkha district following the flood in the BhoteKoshi river on Wednesday. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Shrestha of the District Police Office, the police found the bodies on the Gorkha side of the Trishuli river bank.

Stating that most of the bodies found in the Trishuli were in a physically damaged and unrecognizable state, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shrestha said that 11 intact bodies were found. "We have sent the 11 intact bodies found so far to Pokhara. The physically damaged bodies are in the mortuary of Gorkha Hospital," he said.
