Prem Shahi arrest and release leave questions about justice within Nepal Army unanswered

On December 19, 2022, Major General Prem Shahi was given a letter of retirement by the Nepal Army . But, dissatisfied with the decision, he went to the Supreme Court FF arguing he was forced to retire illegitimately. The court issued an interim order in his favour.

But when he went to the office with the interim order, he was arrested, on January 3, 2023.
