Son of Last Shah of Iran Reacts to Unconfirmed Reports of Supreme Leader Khamenei's Death

Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the last Shah of Iran, has reacted to reports claiming the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He stated that the time for national celebration has begun and referred to Khamenei as Zahhak, a cruel character from Iranian mythology.

Pahlavi depicted Khamenei as the murderer of tens of thousands of Iranian youth and claimed he has now been erased from the pages of history. Pahlavi wrote on X, 'With the end of Khamenei, the Islamic Republic has also practically ended and will soon be relegated to the dustbin of history.'
