Annapurna region sees record tourist influx driven by SAARC visitors

POKHARA, July 18: The number of foreign tourists entering the Annapurna region has set a new record. Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) said more foreign visitors than ever before visited the region. A recent increase in tourists from SAARC countries led to the overall rise in visitors, according to the project.
