Department Fines Firm NPR 20,000 During Market Inspection

Kathmandu. The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection, which regularly monitors the market, has fined one firm NPR 20,000.

The department imposed the fine on Gunjeswori Trade Link Pvt. Kaseshwor after irregularities were found during an on-site inspection. The department has been regularly monitoring businesses and shops related to cooking gas and food items in recent days. In this process, the department also issued corrective directives to five other firms.
