Westerly winds influence western Nepal; moderate rain likely in hilly and Tarai areas

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: The western parts of Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces are currently under the influence of westerly winds, while the remaining areas are experiencing a weak influence of monsoon winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
