Flood Forecasting Division Warns of Rising River Levels

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division has stated that the water flow in the major rivers of the country will increase for the next three days.

According to the measurement at 8 AM today, the water level in Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, Mahakali and their tributaries is still below the alert level. The flow of Kankai, Kamala, Babai and East and West Rapti rivers is also normal so far. However, the division estimates that the flow will intensify in the coming days.
