Road Upgrade Project Faces Delays Due to Contractor Lapses

Lamjung. The upgrade work of the Khatrithanti–Kunchha–Sotipasal road in Lamjung has been left incomplete due to the negligence of construction entrepreneurs. Local residents are suffering from mud in the rainy season and dust in the dry season as the road construction has not been completed.

The physical progress of the 10.8-kilometer road from Hndetar in Sundarbazar Municipality-2 to Nibubari in Madhyaneapl Municipality-1 has only reached 47.17 percent so far, according to the Infrastructure Development Office, Lamjung.
