Surya Tara Cement Industry Construction Begins in Karnali Province

Surkhet. Karnali is the only province where there are no large or medium-sized industries or factories yet. Or, even though it is considered a province of potential, investors are said to be unwilling to come, citing an unfavorable investment environment. But now, a cement industry has started construction with a large investment in western Surkhet.

The Surya Tara Cement Industry has started construction in the Sunakhada area of Chauku VDC-9. Preparations to build the industry here were started in 2079 BS. However, there was some delay due to land acquisition processes and compensation for the people in the mining area. For the past few months, construction of the necessary structures for the industry has been going on in full swing.
