UML National Congress: New leadership based on second statute convention

Kathmandu, Dec 12: The CPN (UML) has completed all preparations for its National Congress. It is all set to elect new leadership in accordance with the statute ratified by the second Statute Convention that had taken place on September 5-7 in Godawari, Lalitpur.

Today's Secretariat meeting recognized the supreme authority of the second Statute Convention reasoning that it had decided a 15-member executive committee and a 251-member central committee, according to Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali.
