Nepal Police Release Over 100 Detained for Election-Related Activities

Kathmandu. The Nepal Police Headquarters stated that 103 out of the 195 individuals arrested for involvement in anti-election activities were released on Wednesday evening.

Central Spokesperson, Police Deputy Inspector General Avinaryan Kafle, informed that 17 out of the 34 arrested on charges of cybercrime and misuse of social media were released, while 17 remain in custody.
