Dhanauji Rural Municipality Pledges Rs 2.2 Million for Flood Victims

Janakpurdham. Dhanauji Rural Municipality in Dhanusha has decided to provide assistance of Rs 22,15,515 for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River.

According to a press release issued by the rural municipality, it has been decided to deposit Rs 7 lakh from the rural municipality's Disaster Management Fund into the Prime Minister's Natural Disaster Relief Fund. Additionally, it has been decided to collect Rs 15,15,515 as assistance by deducting from the monthly salaries of the people's representatives, working employees, and teachers of the rural municipality.
