Landslides and Floods Disrupt Major Highways Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Landslides and floods have affected various major highways in the country. According to the Nepal Police, road blockages persist in various districts of the Bagmati Province, including the Kathmandu Valley.

The Prithvi Highway is completely blocked due to landslides at Krishna Bhir in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7 and Parewa Bhir in Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 of Dhading. Traffic has been halted since Bhadra 14 due to continuous landslides in these locations.
