Over 1.87 Million Voters to Cast Ballots in Gandaki Province Federal Elections

Pokhara. Today is the House of Representatives election. More than 1.87 million voters from Gandaki Province are casting their votes. According to the Election Commission, the voter list for Gandaki was published including everyone who will turn 18 by Falgun 20 in the 11 districts of Gandaki. According to that list, there are 1,870,065 voters in Gandaki.

In this province, the number of female voters is higher than the number of male voters. Across the province, there are a total of 955,516 women, while there are 914,535 men. Fourteen people from other groups are also participating in the voting. Kaski and Nawalpur each have 4 voters from the sexual and minority community, while all other districts except Manang, Lamjung, and Tanahun have 1 voter each from this community.
