Humla sees increasing COVID-19 cases following removal of prohibitory order

SIMKOT, July 12: COVID-19 cases have increased in Humla district shortly after the prohibitory order was lifted.
There has been dense mobility of people in the market and elsewhere after the prohibitory measure was removed. Moreover, people largely ignored to follow the health protocol and wear facemasks and sanitizers while stepping out of house. As a result, the infection cases have risen, said officiating superintendent of District Hospital, Humla, Dr Tashi Yanjuk Lama.
