Consumer Protection Department Fines Restaurant in Kathmandu for Violations

Kathmandu. The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection, which has been intensifying market monitoring, has imposed a cash fine on one firm. Following irregularities found during an on-site inspection, Sunil Canteen at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11 Trauma Center was fined NPR 5,000.

Similarly, the department has instructed Healthy Bites Services Pvt. Ltd. in Chabahil to appear within three days with business-related documents. Furthermore, the department issued corrective directives to 11 other firms.
