Former President Bhandari Stresses Youth Participation in Politics Beyond Slogans

Kathmandu. Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that youth participation in politics should not be limited to slogans. Former President Bhandari said this while addressing a program organized by Madan Bhandari Ideology Student Forum, a student organization associated with the ideas of people's leader Madan Bhandari, in Kathmandu on Sunday.

"Youth participation in politics should not be limited to slogans. Politics is not just about asking for or giving votes during elections," Bhandari said. She also said that it is a continuous process of understanding society, listening to the voice of the people, seeking one's role in policy making, and contributing creatively to the development and change of the country.
