Former Royal Family Member Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Questioned and Released by Police Over Misuse of Official Position

London. Former member of the British Royal Family, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has been arrested, questioned, and subsequently released by police on suspicion of abusing his official position while holding public office. Thames Valley Police took the 66-year-old Andrew into custody from Norfolk on Thursday morning.

His arrest was not related to sexual offenses but centered on allegations that he provided confidential government documents to American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a trade envoy. Police also raided and searched Andrew's residences in Berkshire and Norfolk.
