As snakes slither to higher climes, Nepal expands snakebite treatment centres to hill districts

Eighty percent of deaths are caused by delayed treatment. Nepal aims to reduce present snakebite deaths by 50 percent within 2030.

At least four snakebite victims were receiving in-patient care at the Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Kathmandu on Sunday.
