Power restored in 650 houses after two months

KASKI, August 15: Madi Rural Municipality-1 in Kaski has been connected with the central transmission line of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). Six hundred and fifty households at Sikles, Parche and Khilang villages had been facing power outage since June 15.
Sikles is one of the major touristic sites in Kaski. The power was restored on Saturday through the help of national grid. The June 15 floods in the Madi River damaged the local hydro power project, bringing the power supply to a complete halt.
