Securities Board Drafts Margin Lending Rules for Stock Market

Kathmandu. Nepal Securities Board has drafted the Margin Lending Transaction Rules, 2083 to regulate margin lending transactions in the stock market.

The Board has made the draft prepared to regulate margin lending transactions in the stock market public for suggestions. The Board has stated that this regulation has been brought with the objective of bringing share transactions done through loans in the securities market into the legal framework and maintaining investor protection and market stability.
