Government pushes ministries to meet FATF reform targets

Secretary-level meeting calls for faster implementation of measures needed to remove Nepal from the FATF grey list.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has directed government secretaries to work on a fixed timeline and take effective measures to get Nepal off the Financial Action Task Force’s “grey list”, a global watchlist for countries with weaknesses in their efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
