Two Dead, 19 Hospitalized After Consuming Spurious Liquor in Gujarat's Bhavnagar

Bhavnagar. In Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, India, two people have died and 19 have fallen ill after allegedly consuming spurious liquor. They have been admitted to various hospitals for treatment, officials said on Wednesday. During the investigation of the incident, the police have taken four liquor smugglers into custody.

According to officials, all affected people consumed liquor filled in spurious bottles of IMFEL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) brand. Their health condition deteriorated after consuming the liquor.
