Vice President's wife, Champadevi, his support

BARA, March 17: Champadevi Yadav is the wife of the newly elected Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav. She has a small thatched house near Gaucharan in Bayalbazar, Kalaiya Sub Metropolitan-5, where she has been living alone. Two sons and one daughter live in Kathmandu for study, while her husband Ramsahaya Yadav is also mostly away from home. Since waking up at 3 in the morning, Champadevi does not get a single moment of free time aside from household chores and farming.

Yadav, who taught Science at the local Pannalal Kanyadevi School for 18 years, became politically active after the 2062/063 movement. After Yadav became active in politics, Champadevi has been managing the household, animals, and farming alone.
