President Bhandari appoints Prachanda as new PM, swearing-in on Monday

Chairperson of CPN – Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been appointed the Prime Minister of the new post-election government.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari today appointed him as the PM as per Article 76 (2) of the constitution of Nepal, after receiving Dahal’s claim to the seat, backed by as many as 169 Members of the House of Representatives.
