Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu Marks Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day

The Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day were observed with various programs at the Embassy of Bangladesh located here in Kathmandu. A seminar and cultural program was organized on the embassy premises on Sunday on this occasion. Presentations showcasing the linguistic diversity and cultural heritage of various regions of the world were presented during the program.

The program was attended by ambassadors and diplomats from various countries in Kathmandu, representatives of international organizations, representatives from the SAARC Secretariat, officials from ICIMOD, linguists, educationists, officials from Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the Bangladesh Club, the Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Association, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepali businesspersons, and members of the Bangladeshi community in Nepal.
