Water level rising in Koshi, 30 sluices opened for flood control

JHAPA: As many as out of 56 doors of Koshi barrage have been opened to calm down the surging water level caused by the continuous rainfall in Koshi river.

According to Sub Inspector Kul Bahadur Khatri, who is on duty in the area, the water level has risen nearly by 100 thousand cusec in 12 hours since Thursday evening.
