Janata Dal insists on fully proportional electoral system

Kathmandu, 11 July (2022) - Nepali Janata Dal has demanded the implementation of a full proportional electoral system in the upcoming federal and provincial elections.

Organising a press meet at the Reporters' Club today, the party said the existing electoral system has been costlier and ostentatious, adding that a fully proportional electoral system is a better option to reduce unnecessary poll expenditures.
