21 Blue Sheep and 11 Himalayan Tahr Hunted in Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve in One Year

Baglung. In Nepal's only hunting reserve, Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, 21 blue sheep and 11 Himalayan tahr were hunted in one year. Foreign hunters have paid more than Rs 41.7 million in revenue to the Department of Wildlife for hunting blue sheep and Himalayan tahr through competition.

Hunting in Dhorpatan takes place in two phases annually. Revenue of Rs 30.305 million was paid in the first phase and Rs 14.374 million in the second phase.
