Private Air Ambulance Crashes in Jharkhand, All Seven Aboard Killed

Kathmandu. All seven people aboard a private air ambulance, which took off from Ranchi, India, for Delhi, died when it crashed in the Chatra district of Jharkhand on Monday evening. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India confirmed the accident.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft took off from Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport at 7:11 PM for a medical flight to Delhi. Radar and radio contact with the aircraft was lost shortly after takeoff. The last contact with the aircraft was with the Kolkata Air Traffic Control at 7:34 PM.
